Parish Internship
In the Fall of 2015 I started my parish internship at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Berkeley. During this time I was supervised by the Rev. Greg Ward. This internship provided me with an opportunity deepen my understanding of pastoral practice in a turbulent time.

During the year that I was at UUCB, the congregation was in their final year of a two year interim ministry. As an intern, this provided me with a unique opportunity to witness (and participate in) this transition. This time also allowed me a chance to better understand the interpersonal dynamics at play when a system is under stress.
Clinical Pastoral Education
I completed my unit of Clinical Pastoral Education with the San Francisco Night Ministry, during the winter of 2018. This experience provided me the opportunity to hone my pastoral care skills both in one-on-one and group settings. Through nightly walks down the streets of San Francisco or shifts on the Night Ministry's crisis line, I learned to provide spiritual care and guidance to people of a variety of faith, economic, and cultural backgrounds.
